My Story
In November of 2014 I'd been out of work for a while and had been having trouble even getting an interview, let alone a job. It hadn't been a very good year for me, having lost my Mom and having dealt with other hardships throughout the year. I was at my wit's end and something had to change.
With no income and myself & 4 furkids to take care of at that time, I knew I had to do something and do it fast!
An opportunity presented itself after a friend and fellow animal lover/rescuer did a Scentsy Fundraiser for me. If ever there was a sign telling me what I needed to do, that opportunity was it! It was like a big flashing neon sign. I joined Scentsy on November 4, 2014. I didn't realize at that time just how much of a change I'd made by joining, but it started to become very clear within a few short months.
Since joining Scentsy I've been having the time of my life! I LOVE IT!!! I still can't believe my luck! For just $99 I started my own business. I became an Independent Scentsy Consultant. But more than that, I became part of a family of people who help each other more than I ever experienced while working out in corporate America. I get to set my own hours, work around my own schedule and be my own boss. I get to PARTY for a living!
I reside in Springfield, MA with my 2 dogs: Adabelle, my 7 yr old American Eskimo and Minnie, my 8 yr old LH Chi/Pug mix rescue.
I have been involved in animal rescue, particularly dogs and cats, since late 2002. Since I'd been out of work, I hadn't been able to do as much as I'd done before in my rescue work. Now, thanks to my Scentsy business, I'm able to help more animals in need and do at least 2 Scentsy fundraisers each month to help rescues that rely on donations to help the animals in need.
I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity & that I didn't hesitate to grasp that opportunity to join Scentsy and start my own business.
One of my many goals is to earn incentive trips to places I never would have been able to go. Since becoming an Independent Scentsy Consultant, I am on my way to earning these trips, earning an income and being able to give back and help not only the animals in need, but people too. I've always wanted to run my own business, be my own boss and I'm now doing it!
